Brownsville Farmers Market

The market brings locally grown produce that is natural and free of pesticides straight

from the farm to your table.  By establishing a market in downtown Brownsville we are

increasing access of healthy options.   The Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday

at Linear Park from 9am to noon. 

 

We accept EBT (debit cards), SNAP - Supplemental Nutrition Assitance Program, WIC -Farmers' Market Nutrition Program, and Farm Fresh Voucher program

The market participates in

​

Farmers Market Nutrition Program (WIC) - Women, infants (over 4 months old) and children that have been certified to receive WIC program benefits or who are on a waiting list for WIC certification are eligible to participate in the WIC FMNP. State agencies may serve some or all of these categories.  A variety of fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs may be purchased with FMNP coupons. These vouchers are issued by a representative of RGV Food Bank. At the moment no vouchers are being issued until further notice.
