Community Gardens

 

The community garden program offers free gardening classes free to the public on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 6pm at Tres Angeles Community Garden. (E. 8th & Tyler). The community garden participants receive free transplants and compost twice a year. 

 

  • Tres Angeles Community Garden: E. 8th & Tyler | Est. Aug. 2013 | 24 garden beds

  • Lemon Grass Community Garden: E. 25th & Taylor | Est. Nov. 2013 | 34 garden beds

  • Esperanza Community Garden: 2115 Roosevelt St. | Est. April 2014 | 70 garden beds (20 dedicated to Faulk M.S.)

  • Zulema Reyes - Belden Community Garden: 25 W. Fronton | Est. April 2014 | 40 garden beds (20 dedicated to Skinner Elem.)

  • Rosemary Community Gardens: Austin Rd. & Crockett (Portway Acres Park) | Est. Oct. 2014 | 24 garden beds
